A settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something; typically one that is reflected by a persons behavior

Reflection 

What this quote means is that our attitude is one of the things that leads us in life. For example, if you have a bad attitude and are negative about everything then you are going no where in life. But if you have a good attitude and are positive/optimistic then you will go places. Just like a flat tire, you cannot go anywhere with a bad attitude, so you must change that bad attitude in order for you to start going far in life.
